And, surprise, surprise, the murderers gonna be the State. Like that’s never happened before.
The guy has a mental illness. And yet he’s still to be executed by the state, the most pre-meditated of all pre-meditated murders.
And what happened? We have a vigil of 76 in London (good), the government “asking for clemency” (I have this mental image of Brown on his knees begging in front of Chariman Mao. Don’t ask me why, that image doesn’t even begin to make sense), and Stephen Fry sending a couple tweets out.
And for what? Drug smuggling. Which, of course, in an ideal world, wouldn’t even be a crime.
I despair.
