Me? Arguing in favour of torture? Hmm.

I’m currently sitting in a Civil Liberties lecture, and this week we’re having a debate. The motion is “This house supports the adoption of a permanent statute permitting torture in the UK as an investigative method to help combat the war on terrorism”. I’ve been placed in the proposition (pro-torture) side. Hmm. Should be interesting….
