Oh noes! Teh Radicals 4 non violens!!! D=

H/T Man Widdicombe for the video.

Pacifism is the idea that violence, especially for political purposes, is wrong.

Apparently, this makes them a threat deserving of being watched- despite not having committed any crimes, and not bloody likely too, either.

Animal Rights activists are also an odd inclusion- I’m pretty sure an anti-animal testing march won’t be marched by the same moonbats who dig up dead grannies for shits and giggles. There’s no justifiable reason for all this information to be collected- peaceful protests that occur WITHOUT any chucking of Molotovs or fights breaking out between two sides of the protest should not be treated as crimes, and protestors are not criminals, yet they are in all but name according to the government. Hell, it was only a few days ago one Labour councillor said this:

everyone is a potential criminal.

Treating everyone they can lay their hands on as a criminal, whether or not they actually are. #2 in the occasional series  “Reasons I don’t think government is a force for good”.

  • “Reasons I don’t think government is a force for good”

Governments in general or this government in particular?

An important distinction as the reason identified in this post is only a reason to find the current government objectionable .

This is a very good point.

For the past few years the police have effectively used animal rights activists as ‘guinea pigs’ (no pun intended – honest) to test all sorts of aggressive policing tactics designed to break up protest movements.

  • “Governments in general or this government in particular?”

Which do you want it to mean? I leave that decision to you.
